Saugus 7th grader Meghann Breton will donate her time and energy to raise funds for Jared Connor (above). Jared suffers from a rare genetic disease, Sanfilippo Syndrome.Meghann Breton, a 7th grader at Our Lady of the Assumption School, is hosting a fundraiser for Jared Connor at the Square One Mall on Saturday, May 17 from 12 noon to 2 pm on the first floor in the Center Court.
Jared has been diagnosed with Sanfilippo Syndrome and his parents, Reia and Rick Connor, the owners of Phunk Phenomenon in Everett, have been told by doctors that he would only live until 10 to 15 years of age. At the fund raiser on May 17th, two of the dance teams from Phunk Phenomenon, Lil Phunk (Meg’s sister, Gigi Breton, dances for Lil Phunk) and Junior Phunk (Meg dances for Junior Phunk) will be performing. Meg will also be selling candy bars, bracelets and asking for donations to raise funds. A silent auction will also be held at the fundraiser.
Meg’s goal is to raise as much as possible for Jared and to raise awareness. Please help Meg to help Jared and make this event a success. Donations for both the silent auction and cash donations are needed. Please contact Meghann Breton at 781-231-0057 or mail a donation to Meghann Breton at 83 Hammersmith Drive, Saugus, MA 01906.
Checks can be made payable to Jared’s Foundation.
