Three years ago, Danielle Strangie was a second grade student in Mrs. Marra’s second grade class. At that time, she organized a collection for cancer during the “Breakfast with Santa.” She helped collect more than $80.
This year, Danielle took her charitable efforts a step further and organized a “Helping Hands Day” at the Waybright School. Through this year’s Helping Hands Day she raised approximately $184.00. As she did three years ago, Danielle presented the money to Mrs. Marra in her sister’s name. Danielle and Mrs. Marra agreed to donate the money to the Reid Sacco Fund.
We thank Danielle for her sense of community and for her concerted effort toward the fight against cancer.
